Meditation

There are many different practises of meditation often aiming at achieving different goals including relaxation, build internal energy or life force, develop compassion, love, patience, generosity and forgiveness.

However I would suggest the true path of mediation is to know and live from our true essence. This then becomes not only a practise we do when we are sitting in meditation but also a way of living. For our journey is to realise we are this awareness, to wake up out of the grip of the egoic sense of I and the practise of meditation is a tool to help us realise this truth.

The benefit of abiding in true essence, to know ourself as divinity, is the end of suffering, which in so many ways we are all seeking albeit in ways that offer transient relief.
